Product and Catalog Management

Manage products, product details, images, categories, and availability in BeautyComm.

Use this guide to add or update products in your BeautyComm store. Complete product information helps shoppers understand what they are buying and helps staff process orders correctly.

Find, Add, or Edit a Product

Search the catalog before adding a product to avoid duplicates. Open the matching item and confirm its name, variant, and store. To create an item, enter the approved product name, description, price, category, brand, and other required details. Save and review the listing before publishing.

When editing, change only approved information. Take extra care with price, discounts, supplier, and availability because these changes affect the live store.

Product Details and Variants

Use accurate information from an approved source. Add specifications shoppers need to compare products, such as size or volume. If an item comes in shades, colors, or sizes, set up each real option and make sure the selected option matches its stock record.

Beauty-specific labels such as Skin Type or Good For should match the product information. They help shoppers browse; they are not medical advice or a promise of results.

Images and Categories

Use clear, current images that show the correct item and variant. Preview the listing after uploading media. Place the product in the most relevant existing category and use consistent brand names so shoppers can find it.

Only upload approved media. Before deleting or replacing a file, check that it is not used elsewhere.

Stock and Store Availability

A product can be saved but still hidden or unavailable. Check that required details are complete, the listing is active, the correct store or channel is selected, and the chosen variant has stock where required. If a supplier verification step is shown, follow the store’s approval process before publication.

For stock updates, see Inventory Management. Preview the customer-facing listing to confirm the saved details appear as intended.
